TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This offer is valid in India during the offer period and is open to all existing Shoppers Stop Limited’s First Citizen members availing the offer (customers) by purchasing the merchandise (billed by Shoppers Stop Ltd. (SSL)) as stated in the offer from stores of SSL called Shoppers Stop (including Airport Stores at Bangalore and Hyderabad), HomeStop and Mothercare (SSL operated stores) located all across India. Offer is also valid at www.shoppersstop.com for billing which is completed within the offer period (stores).
  2. This offer is open only to Indian Citizens residing in India. This offer is valid from 01/10/2011 to 01/01/2012 (both days inclusive) (offer period)
  3. Customers availing the offer as stated herein (offer), during the offer period are eligible for the Bonus Reward Points voucher, on achieving the net purchase amount or multiples thereof from the stores of SSL as under:-
    • For every net purchase of merchandise worth Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only): 3,571 Bonus Reward Points voucher worth Rs. 2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only).
    • For every net purchase of merchandise worth Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only): 17,143 Bonus Reward Points voucher worth Rs.12,000/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand Only).
  4. Only the net purchase amount will be taken into consideration for calculating the eligibility of the Bonus Reward Points voucher (for more details refer to the First Citizens Benefit Guide).
  5. Citibank will provide additional 30%(1071 Points worth Rs.750/-) and 35%(6000 Points worth Rs.4200/-) reward points on shopping of Rs.30,000/- and Rs.1,00,000/- respectively, only if complete payments are made by First Citizen Citibank Credit card only and the card is swiped through a Citibank EDC machine. Such additional reward points shall be transferred by Citibank to the customer's First Citizen account held with SSL and will therefore not reflect on the customer's monthly Citibank credit card statement.
  6. The additional Citibank reward points will be credited in the customer’s account within 15 (fifteen) days from the Bonus Reward Points Voucher collection date.
  7. The Bonus Reward Points offer is valid on purchases made from www.shoppersstop.com. The additional Citibank reward points offer is not valid at www.shoppersstop.com.
  8.  Customers must present their valid SSL’s First Citizen card and any photo identity card (photo credit card, driving license etc) in order to collect the Bonus Reward Points voucher.
  9. This offer is not valid for Customers whose membership has expired on or before the completion of purchases worth Rs. 30,000/- and Rs.1,00,000/- (net purchase amount) during the offer period.
  10. The Bonus Reward Points voucher cannot be claimed for purchases made through SSL’s gift vouchers, Points certificates, any other points redemption schemes, credit notes, Sodexho Pass/Ticket Gift Vouchers and discount values. A customer is eligible to participate in the offer on purchase of Gift vouchers but not on redemption of the same.
  11. The Bonus Reward Points voucher cannot be claimed for purchases of mobile phones, mobile accessories, laptops, laptop accessories, MP3/MP4 players, iPods, pure gold jewellery, Gold & Platinum Coins/Bars, Apple products, cameras, ‘Maxit’ & ‘everyday’ products and certain categories at stores and website. Details available at the First Citizens’ Desk at stores of SSL.
  12. The Bonus Reward Points voucher cannot be redeemed against purchases of Gift Vouchers of SSL, mobile phones, mobile accessories, laptops, laptop accessories, MP3/MP4 players, iPods, pure gold jewellery, Gold & Platinum Coins/Bars, Apple products, cameras and certain categories at stores. Details available at the First Citizens’ Desk at stores of SSL.
  13. The Bonus Reward Points and Citibank additional reward points cannot be transferred, substituted for cash or other articles and cannot be exchanged or returned.
  14. Any issues relating to the transactions of the offer will have to be supported by the original cash memo(s).
  15. Beyond the stated Bonus Reward Points, SSL shall not be responsible for any liability whatsoever under this offer.
  16. Upon being offered the Bonus Reward Points voucher, if required Customer must complete and execute all the necessary documentation, indemnities, liability agreement and writings as required by SSL. The Customer will be deemed to have accepted the Bonus Reward Points voucher only upon the completion of the formalities.
  17. Customers who become eligible for the Bonus Reward Points voucher will have to collect the same from the First Citizen desk of any store within the offer period. The Bonus Reward Points voucher shall not be couriered, home delivered or posted.
  18. Bonus Reward Points shall be credited to Customer’s account only after 48 hours from the Bonus Reward Points Voucher Collection date.
  19.  Customer must redeem the Bonus Reward Points latest by March 31, 2012. No claims for redemption of Bonus Reward Points shall be entertained after March 31, 2012 and the Bonus Reward Points voucher shall be deemed to have lapsed.
  20. Employees and dependant family members of SSL are not eligible to participate in this offer.
  21. Citibank shall neither be responsible for the fulfilment of this offer or that of the Bonus Reward Points vouchers. Shoppers Stop First Citizen members will neither hold Citibank responsible for or liable for  the delivery, quality, availability and/or merchantability of the goods and/or services provided by SSL under this offer nor for any actions, claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, charges and expenses which a participant may suffer, sustain or incur by way of participating in the offer. Citibank shall not entertain any communication in this regard
  22. SSL reserves its right to add, alter, modify, change or vary any of the terms and conditions at any point of time without assigning any reason or any intimation whatsoever.
  23. All other expenses, if any, including all taxes as may be applicable under the Indian Laws and all local levies is to be borne by the customers participating in the offer.
  24. This offer is being brought to you by SSL .And in the event of non-happening or partial happening of the same for reasons beyond anybody’s control or act of God, then neither SSL and/or Citibank nor their directors, employees, associates, agents, sponsors nor their agents, successors or assigns shall be liable to any of Customers participating in the offer or any other person claiming under him.
  25. All other terms and conditions of SSL including the terms appearing on the webportal of  SSL (www.shoppersstop.com) shall apply along with these terms and conditions.
  26. Any dispute arising out of this offer will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only.
